Types of Sheet and Roofing Products

How Do You Use Plywood, OSB and Roofing Products?

When cutting plywood or OSB, use a fine-tooth circular saw for a clean edge and fix securely with wood screws or nails. For roofing felt, ensure the surface is clean and dry before unrolling and overlapping sheets by at least 50 mm. Secure using galvanised felt nails and finish with timber fascia or capping for added weather protection.

Always seal exposed edges of sheet materials when used externally, and combine them with C24 Timber for structural support. Proper sealing and ventilation will significantly extend product life and prevent moisture damage.
