This panel extension kit allows metric 1.8m fence panels to be fitted into imperial 6ft (1.83m) fencing systems. Many decorative and European style fence panels are manufactured to metric sizing, which leaves a gap when installed between traditional imperial posts and gravel boards.
Each extension piece adds approximately 14mm to the width of the panel, fix one extention kit to each side to allow it to fit neatly within the standard 1.83m (6ft) fence bay used by most UK concrete fencing systems.
The extension kits help create a secure and professional installation, preventing panels from moving within the slot while maintaining correct spacing between posts and gravel boards.
These are particularly useful when installing metric decorative panels or continental-style fencing within existing UK fencing systems.
