1.05m x 125mm Feather Edge Board – Pressure Treated Green

This 1.05m x 125mm green feather edge board is UC4 pressure treated to provide long-lasting protection against moisture and decay, making it a reliable option for creating neat, medium-height closeboard fencing. It’s well suited for front gardens, pathways, or areas needing low to mid-height boundary solutions.

Cut using the 2EX method, each board starts from a 22mm thick piece of timber, diagonally split to create two feather edge profiles. The final thickness tapers from around 15mm at its thickest to 5mm at the edge, providing excellent overlap and drainage when installed.

For optimal fence height and longevity, this board is often paired with a gravel board, bringing the overall finish height to approximately 1.20m (1.05m + 0.15m).

Traditional Timber System

Use with wooden fence posts, cant rails, and timber gravel boards to create a classic fence line. Add Post Saver Sleeves to posts for enhanced rot protection at the ground line.

Heavy-Duty Concrete System

For a more robust alternative, combine this board with concrete recessed posts and concrete gravel boards. This setup increases durability and reduces long-term maintenance needs.
