1.50m x 125mm Feather Edge Board – Pressure Treated Green

This 1.50m x 125mm green feather edge board is pressure treated to UC4 standard, providing excellent durability for fencing that needs to withstand ground contact and moisture. Ideal for medium-height boundary fences, it delivers strength, longevity, and a traditional aesthetic.

Each board is cut using the 2EX method, where a 22mm thick board is diagonally sawn to create two tapered feather edge boards. The resulting profile measures approximately 15mm at the thickest point and tapers to around 5mm at the edge. This shape allows for effective overlapping, aiding water run-off and structural integrity.

When paired with a gravel board, the overall fence height reaches approximately 1.65m, adding both function and protection from splashback or soil contact.

Traditional Timber System

Use wooden fence posts, cant rails, and timber gravel boards to create a timeless closeboard setup. For extra rot protection at ground level, apply Post Saver Sleeves, a simple and cost-effective upgrade.

Heavy-Duty Concrete System

Maximise durability by combining concrete fence posts with concrete gravel boards. Timber cant rails can still be used to retain the traditional closeboard look.
