1.8m DuraPost Classic Fence Post – Sepia Brown

This 1.8m DuraPost Classic Fence Post – Sepia Brown is manufactured from cold-rolled galvanised steel and powder-coated in Sepia Brown for a warm, timber-friendly appearance. Its deep 48mm H-style channel is wide enough to securely hold fence panels and cant rails for closeboard fencing. Installed with a 600mm burial depth, it provides a maximum finished fence height of up to 1.2m, making it ideal for lower boundaries, picket fencing and decorative garden layouts.

The Classic post is designed for versatility and can be used with traditional wooden fencing, closeboard bays, picket and hit-and-miss styles, as well as DuraPost composite fencing. The H-channel makes attaching timber rails simple and secure, giving flexibility in how you design and build your fence line.

Using 1.5mm cold-rolled steel folded to approximately 3mm at the front, the post offers a strong yet lightweight structure. The Sepia Brown powder-coated finish adds extra protection over the galvanised steel, while the post itself is guaranteed for up to 25 years and wind tested to 110mph in line with BS EN 12839:2012 and BS EN 1794. This gives you a durable, weather-resistant and visually softer alternative to grey or bare metal finishes.
