2.4m DuraPost Classic Fence Post – Black

This 2.4m DuraPost Classic Fence Post – Black is manufactured from cold-rolled galvanised steel and powder-coated in Black, providing a sleek, modern look alongside long-term corrosion protection. The deep 48mm H-style channel is wide enough to securely hold fence panels and cant rails for closeboard fencing. With a 600mm burial depth, the post supports a maximum finished fence height of up to 1.8m, which is the standard height for most garden privacy fences.

The Classic post is designed for use with a wide range of fence constructions — including traditional timber closeboard, picket and hit-and-miss designs, as well as DuraPost composite fencing and timber panels. The cold-rolled steel section is 1.5mm thick, folded to approximately 3mm at the front to increase rigidity and impact resistance while keeping overall weight down.

Wind tested to withstand speeds up to 110mph in line with BS EN 12839:2012 and BS EN 1794, and guaranteed for up to 25 years, this Black DuraPost Classic fence post delivers a strong, long-lasting and visually striking alternative to concrete and timber posts in contemporary gardens.
