2.4m DuraPost Classic Fence Post – Galvanised

This 2.4m DuraPost Classic Fence Post – Galvanised is made from cold-rolled galvanised steel and incorporates a deep 48mm H-style channel that securely locates fence panels and cant rails for closeboard fencing. Installed at a 600mm burial depth, it provides a maximum finished fence height of up to 1.8m, which is the most common size for standard garden privacy fencing in the UK.

Designed for durability and flexibility on site, the Classic post works with a wide variety of fencing styles. The H-channel makes it simple to attach timber rails for closeboard bays, picket-style runs or hit-and-miss designs, while also being fully compatible with traditional wooden panels and the DuraPost composite fencing range.

Manufactured from 1.5mm steel that is folded to approximately 3mm at the front, the post delivers impressive rigidity without the excessive weight of concrete. It is guaranteed for up to 25 years and wind tested to 110mph in accordance with BS EN 12839:2012 and BS EN 1794, ensuring your fence line remains stable and reliable in extreme weather.
