The 8FT Intermediate Concrete Fence Post – Dry Cast (2.4M) is a durable, reinforced slotted post designed to hold standard 6ft (1.83m) wide fence panels. Manufactured using a dry cast process and reinforced with internal steel bars, it offers dependable performance in exposed areas and high-wind locations.

Intermediate posts feature slots on both sides, allowing fence panels to slide in seamlessly and securely between runs. This 2.4m length is the ideal size for 6ft panels when allowing for a recommended 2ft burial depth.

Whether you’re building a garden boundary or replacing timber posts, these concrete posts offer a maintenance-free alternative that won’t rot or warp over time.

Installation Guidance

For the best results, dig a hole roughly 600mm deep and 200mm wide, allowing enough depth for secure fixing. A small layer of gravel at the base can improve drainage. Use Postcrete to set the post and check with a spirit level before it sets.

Once installed, simply slide your panels and concrete gravel boards into place. This dry cast post is ideal for use in conjunction with 6FT Closeboard Panels and other standard fencing options.
