This 1.8m x 100mm x 100mm pressure-treated brown post is UC4 treated for direct ground contact and long-term use in external environments. Its smooth sawn, square-cut profile makes it a strong and versatile choice for low to mid-height fencing, including 1.2m picket panels, 4ft lap fence panels, or low-level closeboard systems.

With enough length for a secure 2ft (60cm) burial depth, this post provides excellent wind resistance while maintaining the required height above ground.

How do you install a 1.8m wooden fence post?

We recommend a 2ft (60cm) burial depth and using 1.5 to 2 bags of Postcrete per post depending on soil conditions. This gives you the strength needed for UK weather and ensures a clean, upright finish.
