The 3.0m x 100mm x 100mm pressure treated brown post is one of the tallest timber fencing posts offered at Clarke Fencing. Ideal for bespoke closeboard fencing, high boundary lines, or commercial fencing projects, this UC4-rated post delivers outstanding strength and stability in exposed areas. The extended length provides increased above-ground clearance while still allowing for a secure 2ft burial depth.

This post is often used where taller fencing or step-ups across sloped terrain are required and is compatible with both concrete and traditional timber systems.

How do you install a 3.0m wooden fence post?

To maintain wind resistance and structural integrity, we recommend a 2ft (60cm) burial depth and securing each post with 1.5 to 2 bags of Postcrete. This will keep even taller posts standing strong through the seasons.
