3.0m x 150mm x 22mm Wooden Gravel Board – Pressure Treated Brown
Long-Span Gravel Board for Timber Fencing Systems
This 3.0m x 150mm x 22mm brown wooden gravel board offers extended coverage for large bays or custom-length fencing projects. Manufactured from softwood and pressure treated to UC4 standards, it acts as a protective barrier at the base of your closeboard fencing, safeguarding the vertical boards from splashback and ground rot.
With its long 3.0m span, this gravel board reduces the number of joins needed, improving installation speed and visual continuity across larger boundaries. Often used in both residential and commercial fencing, it pairs perfectly with featheredge boards and helps achieve a clean, professional finish.
When combined with a 1.80m feather edge board, this gravel board lifts the finished height to around 1.95m.

Traditional Timber Closeboard System
Use alongside wooden fence posts, cant rails, and feather edge boards for a fully timber solution. Adding Post Saver Sleeves to posts provides cost-effective rot protection.
Heavy-Duty Concrete Fence System
Also compatible with concrete recessed posts and concrete gravel boards, this board can either be fitted in front for aesthetic purposes or used structurally. Fixings such as exterior timber screws or cup square bolts ensure a secure hold.

How do you install a wooden gravel board?
Begin by positioning and securing your fence posts with Postcrete. Align the gravel board horizontally between posts at the base and attach it using galvanised nails, timber screws, or bolts. This sets a level base line for cant rails and feather edge boards, helping maintain height consistency across the fence.
