These Sitemate 50 × 2.9mm Collated Ring Shank Nails are supplied in a box of 3300 as a nail-only pack with no gas canisters included. The nails are collated at a 34° angle and use a ring-shank profile. The raised ridges of a ring shank are designed to increase holding strength once driven in, as the grooved surface creates additional resistance against withdrawal compared with a smooth shank type. The 50mm length and 2.9mm diameter form a commonly used nail size within this collated format.

These nails use an electro-galvanised (“E-galv”) finish. Electro-galvanising applies a zinc coating through an electrical process, resulting in a smoother, thinner and more uniform finish than hot-dip galvanising. It is typically chosen where a cleaner appearance is preferred or where conditions are not as harsh, while hot-dip galvanising produces a thicker, more robust zinc layer generally suited to more demanding or exposed environments.
