3.0m x 75mm x 47mm Cant Rail – Pressure Treated Green
This 3.0m pressure treated green cant rail is an ideal choice for longer fencing runs or when you want extra flexibility in post spacing. Treated to UC4 standard, it’s suitable for use in ground-contact areas and high-moisture environments. Manufactured from 125mm x 47mm timber using the (2EX) method, each rail finishes approximately 75mm x 47mm with a chamfered edge for water runoff.
The longer 3.0m length makes it suitable for wider post centres or cutting to size on-site. Cant rails should be installed with two lengths meeting at the centre of each post for uniformity across your closeboard fencing.
Fix to wooden posts using 100mm galvanised nails, or use timber screws or cup square bolts if installing into concrete recessed posts.

How do you install cant rails?
Mount each rail so that two lengths meet at the centre of every post, creating a consistent and clean finish. Position with the chamfered edge facing outwards and slightly upward to shed rainwater. Use 100mm galvanised nails for timber posts or opt for timber screws/cup square bolts with concrete systems.
