1.65m x 125mm Feather Edge Board – Pressure Treated Brown

This 1.65m x 125mm pressure treated brown feather edge board is ideal for taller boundary fencing where both privacy and a robust structure are required. Treated to UC4 standards for in-ground use, it’s a popular choice for full-height garden fences or screening off high-traffic areas.

Manufactured using the 2EX method, this board starts as a 22mm thick length of timber, cut diagonally to create two tapered boards. The finished profile ranges from around 15mm at the thickest edge down to 5mm, allowing secure overlapping that withstands wind and weather.

When paired with a 150mm gravel board, the overall finished fence height reaches approximately 1.80m, a common and effective height for domestic boundary fences.

Traditional Timber System

Combine with wooden fence posts, cant rails, and timber gravel boards for a classic closeboard setup. Protect the base of your timber posts with Post Saver Sleeves for a very cost-effective middle ground against ground-level rot.

Heavy-Duty Concrete System

Alternatively, opt for concrete recessed posts and concrete gravel boards for superior durability and a maintenance-free system that won’t rot over time.
